SIV | cp-plus

Before booking an SIV course I asked lots of local pilots for their thoughts, many had never done one, some thought it would be scary. Finally I bit the bullet and went on a combined SIV/XC week to Annecy less than 18 months into my flying career.

Fantastic. We went with Jocky Sanderson who gave very clear pre-flight instructions and post-flight video analysis
I came away much more confident in my wing and with additional recovery skills
The combination of still mornings for SIV and thermic afternoons for XC was really good
